As our cities get larger and more impersonal local community centres are often great spots to connect with our neighbours, learn new skills and much more. Throughout Perth's metro area there are many community centres, some just small and others vibrant, dynamic and with a wide range of activities happening.

In you opinion, what are Perth's most interesting community centres? Which suburb are they based in and what do they offer? Do they provide activities for children, or just for adults/

There are quite a few good ones around the city, especially in the Fremantle area. A very good one in Nedlands is the Tresillian Centre and they hold regular classes in all sorts of things such as yoga, art, craft, languages, and much more. I also love the Earthwise Community Centre in Subiaco and FERN (Fremantle Environment Resource Centre) in Freo too.
There is a good one in Mandurah...I used to live there and they have good community Centres.

I rather like Warwick Community Centre. It has a load of short courses plus sports for kids to learn!
