Cooking is one of those things that people either love or hate. However, in the wake of popular reality television shows such as Master Chef and My Kitchen Rules, this gentle art has been experiencing an incredible surge in popularity over recent years.
Here in Perth there are various cooking classes held throughout the city, catering for everyone from international food enthusiasts to vegans, gluten intolerant people and raw fooders. In your opinion, what are Perth's best cooking classes? Where are they situated and what do they specialise in? Are they pricey or affordable?
TAFE short courses hold some very good cooking classes in a wide variety of cuisines every school term. There are four TAFE institutions in the Perth area: Central Institute of Technology, Swan TAFE, Challenger TAFE and West Coast TAFE, and if you go to their home pages and look for short courses you'll see what each has available. For vegan, raw and other healthy / natural styles of cooking, check out the free Nova magazine (found at most local health food shops) and see what's advertised.
