Although busloads of tourists visit Wave Rock near Hyden every day, not a lot of visitors venture further afield, along the lonely rural roads of the Wheatbelt. However, with its rugged granite outcrops, nature reserves, pioneer museums and beautiful wildflower displays during the spring, its one of Western Australia's most picturesque and easily-accessible regions.

Have you ever travelled in Western Australia's Wheatbelt and if so, where have you been to? What are your favourite spots and where would you recommend others to visit?

There are many interesting places to visit in the Wheatbelt, for example the Tanglefoot Winery, Wave Rock Wildlife Park and the stunning wildflowers, plus many other attractions.
I read an article of York. I thought that would be a great place to go. I have it on my "to do list"!
