What could be more relaxing and enjoyable than gathering a picnic together, some friends and family, and experiencing some of Perth's free culture - but where to go?

Where can you find Perth's best free art?

A stroll around the grounds of UWA can unveil a treasure trove of installations and sculptures. The Lawrence Wilson Gallery always has something on, and it's all free. My favourite pice is "Gift from the Gods" by Robin Takinthou - a giant metal nut - was first exhibited as part of the 2013 Sculptures by the Sea exhibition. The UWA grounds provide a peaceful, shaded place for a picnic and a wander.
If you take a walk along the Rockingham beach you will see some great art work...more like history info about the culture there.
There are some amazing art pieces for all to view throughout Perth, however I found some great sculptures along the west coast road.
