This year Perth had a particularly long, hot summer with little relief.

How did your garden fare during this?

Did you have some plants that died, or even lawn?

Was being allowed to water the lawn twice a week enough to keep your grass green and healthy?

My Garden died....my lawn almost died...it was a tough summer. :(
My garden did not fare so well.
I actually lost a few cacti which is very rare for me. Perhaps I over-watered.

I also have a lot of dead patches in my lawn and don't quite know why as supposedly watering twice a week as we are allowed to, is enough.

My garden really struggled. Unfortunately my herbs and strawberries died, but the native plants were fine.
Just my basil carked it, because I over watered it!!

PS: (Later) It's fine, & we're still experiencing heatwave conditions. We don't have any lawn anyway, & the plants are mostly in the shade, so nothing (else) has died.
