Wave Rock is in Hyden, is situated 340 km east of Perth, and is 14 metres high, and 110m long.
Have you ever been to this fascinating place?

#Holiday I've travelled quite a bit around the Wheatbelt, and while Wave Rock is impressive, it's only one of many similar rocks out there. Although it's a great spot to visit there are always loads of tourists wandering around, so if you want more of a wilderness experience...go elsewhere. Elachbutting Rock and Beringbooding Rock out past Mukinbudin both have the 'wave' formations, but without the crowds.
Thanks Carolyn -I have never heard of those others, and dint realise there were more similar!
I've been to others as well, but just can't remember their names off-hand. Often the wave formations are smaller but they're still there. However, those two I mentioned are really quite big and very pristine. There are small simple camping grounds at both, too.
No I've never been to Wave Rock, nor seen any other of the rocks mentioned here, unfortunately. (No, I didn't mean it's unfortunate they were mentioned!!!)
