Perth's offering to the humble consumer has really improved in recent years, with the CBD in particular growing its retail base with a number of new and exciting shopping centres. Malls in the suburbs have also recieved notable overhauls with some great expansions to enhance the shopping experience.
I really enjoy shopping at Karrinyup as its out of the city but still features a Myer and a David Jones. Parking can get a bit manic at the weekends though. Karrinyup also has great activities on in the school holidays for kids. Away from shopping centres, I'm enjoying browsing around some of the suburb shopping areas such as Leederville, Subiaco and Mount Hawthorn.
I enjoy to shop at the Joondalup Mall. It has Big W, Target, Kmart and many other big stores including Rebel Sport. The mall also includes a food court to have a bite to eat. Children's competitions are run regularly and prizes awarded. This shopping complex also includes Dymocks, (my favourite store!).
I don't really like big shopping Centres as I hate having to find a park and driving round and round, however I like both Karrinyup and Garden City.
I go mostly to the Galleria as that is closest to me but I don't really like it there despite it having many shops.
