Although Western Australian summers are notoriously hot, our winters can also get pretty chilly at times. Would anyone know if it snows anywhere in the state, and if so, where? If it does, how much is received and does it happen very often?

Yes I believe it does near Mt Barker. Bluff Knoll, in Stirlings, porongerup ranges however I believe it is only light snow and it happens every year though have not heard reports of it this year, 2014.

Bluff Knoll - it's absolutely freezing in winter but the view from the top is spectacular on a clear day.
Right now...being middle of summer, I can vote NO. However, I have not travelled inland and I am sure that it can get pretty cold there!
