The City of Perth has a lot to offer however there are many large shopping centres around.

Do you often go into the City?

If so why, and if not, why not?

I actually love going into the city still.

I find it has more atmosphere than the suburban shopping centres, and is not so claustrophobic[hic.

My Dr is in the city so I catch the train, see him, and then go and have lunch in the City -I always enjoy it as well as shopping for things I do not need.

I go to the city quite often. Most of the time it is business related. I don't mind Perth...however all those one ways drive me crazy!
As much as possible, although I don't have too much time these days. I love the atmosphere - especially around the cultural precinct on weekends as there always seems to be something interesting happening.
No, not really. I just find it a bit busy and confusing, especially at night. Some of the roads are not all that good either, as chipp said. I only go into the city if I really need to.
I go every few months. I love it there! Mostly I go during the school holidays and take the kids as there as the City Of Perth runs some great free holiday programs. I also like to go to Kakulas Brothers to buy my spices, dried fruit and nuts there.
Did you know there is a Kakulas Sisters in Nollamarra? Great, large shop and far easier to park if you are anywhere near Nollamarra!

No, not really, 'cos it's several thousand klms from where I am!

I did go to Perth, a long time ago, to visit friends for a week, who'd moved there from Harare, Zimbabwe. They lived outside Perth, but I can't remember where they lived now. so I guess I went into Perth CBD while I was there visiting! Then another day about 5 years ago, we were in Perth, while visiting Fremantle on a cruise right around Australia. (We caught a train up there.)
