If you are looking for new but cost effect - try the shop at Hillary's Boat Harbor. It has a great selection and you may even find something on sale!
I would not buy but I think I would try to hire.....

A personal favourite of mine has always been Salvation Army. The dresses are in pretty good condition, as well as having a bargain price. I purchased a gown there for $29 and it was stunning!
