fruit and vegetables, best place

Fresh fruit and veggies are always nicer than the frozen ones. However, there are places that are so expensive with a very poor product selection, and there are places that have great value and product selection. Where is the best place to buy fruit and vegetables in Perth?

The conventry village is a good place to go. Covered, clean, and quite a lot of choose from. Found near Morley.
I recommend Perth City Farm's organic market which is held every Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00 noon. It's a great spot just minutes from Perth's CBD with a café, buskers, beautiful public art and of course the gardens themselves to wander around when you've done your shopping. It's also a great family-friendly spot, as there is plenty to keep the kids entertained.

Up in the Perth Hills, Kalamunda Farmer's Market is another great spot to head for, not just for the great selection of fresh, locally-grown produce but also for the fabulous family-friendly atmosphere. When you finish your shopping, why not go bushwalking, check out some of the local galleries or enjoy a picnic with the family at beautiful Stirk Park.
We used to go to the Wanneroo Markets in Wangara on Sunday afternoons to get some good bargains. When the Drovers Market opened up, next to the Botanical Golf Gardens, we went there and found the produce was very fresh and reasonably priced. So now we use the Drovers Markets.
There is a great vege store in the Stirling Central Shopping Centre. The name of the store is 'Fruit and Vegetables', and the prices are very affordable.

Gilberts Fresh Markets in Midland is excellent. The fruit and vegetables are always superb, there's also a butcher, and Italian deli and a wonderful bakery that serves very nice coffee.
I recommend The Spud Shed located in Jandakot. Very well priced and always fresh. They also offer a very nice range of meats.
I Like Fresh Stop in Dog Swamp Shopping Centre.
They are very expensive however it all lasts for more than a week unlike the cheaper ones, and is therefore worth it to me as I already throw a lot of other things out.
