There are many vets now in most suburbs.

Do you have a favourite one who is not overly expensive?

Or would you pay no matter what the cost?

I asked this question as I actually go to two vets, and one seems to have me coming back and back till my dog breeder said, just ignore it all. I did this and the dog is no worse off -in fact better than having useless operations.

I changed vets and they were good however are now charging me $120 for a needle every 3 months when the needle component only is about $35.

I have heard good things about Murdoch University Veterinarian Hospital. Some of the staff their are in training so they charge lower fees. Maybe give them a call and get a quote for the needle. Unfortunately it seems vets are similar to mechanics, its hard to find a good one who doesn't over charge!
I wetn there once with a young dog who had cancer thinking it would be cheaper! It was SO expensive for a visit -far more than my vet -I thought I was paying for all the vets there!
Admittedly this was 12 years ago or so....but would not go back unless I had to.
